Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using the services of The Oriental Holidays. By making a booking or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Booking and Payment

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation from suppliers (airlines, hotels, transport providers).
  • A non-refundable advance payment of 25% of the total package cost is required to confirm a booking. Full payment must be made at least 30 days before the travel date.
  • Bookings made within 30 days of departure require full payment at the time of booking.
  • Prices quoted are subject to change until the booking is confirmed and full payment is received.
  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, UPI, credit/debit cards or cheque payable to "The Oriental Holidays".

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation charges vary based on the time of cancellation prior to the travel date:

  • More than 45 days before departure: 25% of package cost
  • 30 to 45 days before departure: 50% of package cost
  • 15 to 30 days before departure: 75% of package cost
  • Less than 15 days or no-show: 100% (no refund)

Some bookings such as airline tickets, cruise bookings and certain hotel reservations may have stricter supplier cancellation rules which will override the above.

3. Travel Documents

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring their passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond the travel date.
  • Visa requirements vary by destination. While we assist with visa applications, the final decision rests with the embassy or consulate.
  • The Oriental Holidays will not be liable for visa rejections or denied entry at the destination.

4. Changes to Itinerary

We reserve the right to modify the itinerary due to weather, political disturbances, strikes, natural disasters or any force majeure events. Reasonable alternatives will be provided wherever possible.

5. Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travellers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, lost baggage and personal accidents. We can arrange insurance through our partners on request.

6. Liability

The Oriental Holidays acts as an intermediary between customers and service providers (airlines, hotels, transport operators). We are not liable for any loss, injury, damage or delay caused by these third-party providers. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the booking.

7. Health and Safety

Travellers should be aware of and comply with health advisories, vaccinations and quarantine requirements of the destination country. Any associated costs are borne by the traveller.

8. Conduct

We reserve the right to refuse service or remove any traveller whose behaviour disrupts the group, endangers others or violates local laws. No refund will be issued in such cases.

9. Photography and Media

Photographs taken during group tours may be used for our marketing materials. Please inform us in writing if you do not wish to be featured.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi.

11. Force Majeure

The Oriental Holidays will not be held responsible for any loss or inconvenience caused by events beyond our control including natural disasters, pandemics, war, terrorism, strikes or government actions.
